St. Paddy’s Day is coming so this month we’re going GREEN with another fabulous furniture makeover. This time we took a pretty plain, four-door cabinet and turned it into a super-fun, stand-alone coffee bar finished in vibrant, beautiful Firle Green.
Another antiques store treasure-hunt hits pay dirt …
For this how-to video we took a road trip to Baton Rouge’s Mid City and hit pay dirt at Pink Elephant Antiques—an out-of-this-world antiques mall packed wall-to-wall with funky treasures courtesy of thirty-five different dealers. We came home with the Jeep piled full of cool furniture pieces, including a cute, little vintage cabinet that just cried out for a bright, colorful makeover.
Working with Annie Sloan’s Firle and Old White colors, a Royal Design Studio palm frond stencil, and a rich coat of Chalk Paint® Clear Wax, we turned that cabinet into the coolest “Jungle Fever” themed coffee bar you’ve ever seen. Click the video to watch the transformation take place!
